SnacksThe children are provided a mid-morning snack with juice or water. We encourage nutritious, low sugar snacks. There are always fresh fruits, vegetables and cheese available. The teacher may request that you sign up for a "Share a Snack" several times a year. On a specified day, your child will bring a snack to share with their class. A list of suggested foods is available. Check with your child’s teacher regarding any special considerations, food allergies, dietary restrictions or ideas.

Meals are not served unless it is one of our special events such as Pizza Lunch or Grandparent/Special Friend Day. If your child stays for extended day, or is enrolled in Kindergarten or First Grade, they bring their own lunch. We suggest nutritious, well-balanced meals. Even though we are not responsible for the nutritional value of a child’s lunch brought from home, we keep fruit, juice, vegetables, peanut butter and cheese on hand to supplement a child’s lunch. |
